My Family | Chicago Portrait Session
My nieces and nephews have such a huge impact on why I decided to pick up a camera 6 years ago. Having them to practice on was definitely beneficial to my growth as a photographer. My youngest niece, Ariela, was only 2 when I first started. At first she was a willing participant, however “Titi” (which is what she calls me) started to get a bit annoying…I’m sure she felt like I was paparazzi! Their willingness/unwillingness to be in front of a camera helped me learn how to shoot in those types of situations as there are many children of all ages that aren’t so comfortable in front of a camera.
After years of photographing them, I am so proud of how easy they were during our shoot last weekend. They needed minor direction and we had a ton of fun. I wanted to get some photos of them to prepare for my Mother’s day present for my mom. Here are a few photos from their session that day. Enjoy!

Ella | Newborn Session
My friends Anne and Brad welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Ella. She was born at 6 lbs 4 oz and 19.25″ long, a tiny little thing! Tiny and beautiful! This post is late (like all my recent posts this year) but I wanted to show her newborn photos before her 6 month old photos. Enjoy!

Dayne | Chicago Newborn Session
I’m VERY late in blogging this little guy, but I figured better late than never. Dayne’s mom and I met through my cousins, where we ended up running into each other at step class in the gym. She was much better at it than me (even pregnant with Dayne!) but I tried my best to keep up! This little Mexapino (Mexican/Filipino) baby boy was the sweetest thing! He cooperated so well and I’m so glad, he’s such a handsome little guy! We did have a tiny accident, but luckily daddy caught it, hehe. Here are some images from his session that day.
