I love taking High School Senior Portraits, they usually don’t mind being photographed! Mateja was so comfortable in front of the camera and the camera loved her as well. Believe it or not, we shot this entire session in her own backyard. Her father is an avid gardener and gave us so much to work with.

Sarah & Darah were referred to me by my clients Chris & Tom. I was very excited to book with them and looking forward to shooting their wedding in Wilder Park this coming October.

With the weather being so hot lately, we had a really tough time getting our schedules together. Who wants to take engagement photos in 90 degree humid weather? We were able to finally get together for a session in Lincolnshire. Even though the mosquitos were attacking us, we got some shots before the sun left us. I love how comfortable these two were in front of a camera! What a cute couple!

Last year I had the opportunity to photograph this foursome and blog their session. I had so much fun with them last time and was excited to hear back from them to schedule another session. This time, Max brought along his girlfriend Kelly to join in on a few portraits, what a cute couple! I also found out they are car fanatics and they asked if we could get a few pics of their car as well. Since we rode to the park in the Can Am I saw no reason not to!

Dean & CeCe were so much fun to photograph! Since it was a little chilly that day we decided to do a session in their beautiful home. The lighting was beautiful in there and we took full advantage of it. Dean, 15 months old, gave me a work out! He started off looking into my camera then became a bit shy. It was still so much fun to photograph him and his curly hair and beautiful eyes. His sister CeCe (5 years old, going on 13), on the other hand, was more than happy to pose for me. She was kind enough to change into her Halloween outfit, she was Jesse from Toy Story which was one of my favorite photos from that day.
